Bucket List

This is one of those feel good comedy movies that has left me with a smile.

Going into this movie I thought it would be comedy orientated and given the trailer I watched it had a lot of classic funny material, but when the credits rolled I had the same smile on my face as if it was a comedy. Don't get me wrong there were a lot of funny parts; however it did have good life lessons.

The movie starts out with Carter (Freeman) working as a cab mechanic in LA.  He ends up in the hospital with Ed (Nicholson) who is the owner of the hospital.  They laid there for weeks together; watch Jeopardy, playing Gin in which Ed never did win a hand.

Then one day Ed’s doctor came in and gave him the bad news that he was expected to die within 6-12 Months.  Then Carters doctor notified him that he had the same life expectancy.

As Carter was laying in the hospital thinking about his life he remembered when he was in a college class the professor told his students to create a “Bucket List”.  That list was supposed to emulate there life goals.  So Carter started writing down some new goals.

When Ed started questioning Carter on what he was writing, Carter got defensive and told him it was nothing and wadded up the list.  Ed found the list in the morning on the floor and began reading it.  Eventually, they agreed that the list was something they both wanted to do.

So both men, one a multi-millionaire and the other a mechanic, leave on there trip to complete there end of life goals.  Carter’s wife was very upset about him leaving.

This is the point were I will tell all of you that if you want to know any other details about this movie you will need to go enjoy it for yourself at Bones Theatre.

This isn't a movie just for women, men, young or old.  I would recommend this to anyone looking for an entertaining evening or daytime movie at Bones Theatre.

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are both outstanding actors and had amazing chemistry together.
It seemed like they were best friends LONG before the filming of this movie ever started.

The Theatre was clean as always and the staff was very pleasant.  The Popcorn was great and the Drinks were cold.

When I was leaving the movie I noticed that there was a line of about 30 people waiting to get in to see the movie.  I think that it is even better knowing that everyone is local and supporting our local Businesses.

Let me end by saying keep up the good work Bones.
